"Flag"
variation adjustment marking. This marking is very hard to find in 17
jewel Bunns.
The "Flag" adjustment marking can be found on 17, 21, 23, 24 and 26 jewel Bunns. It was only used for a short time until, for some reason, it was decided to adopt the typical marking seen on the left above. There are examples of this marking from various runs of all the above listed jewelings, but many of these runs include typically marked examples too. Nobody knows how many watches were marked this way, however, the 17 jewel Bunn with this marking seems to be the hardest to find.
