This is a 18 size Fredonia made for Franz P. Sieglitz of Anderson, IN. Mr. Sieglitz was a jeweler in Anderson. Fredonia was a short lived company which formed by buying the assets of the Independent Watch Co. in 1881. In 1885 they sold out to the Peoria Watch Co. Fredonia made many private label watches. This dial has been on this watch for some time, but it may or may not be the original dial. In either case, it is a beautiful Fredonia dial.
