This 16s Illinois "Getty Model" was made for M.M. Bovard & Son in Philadelphia, PA. This watch is interesting because it was one of only 70 grade 170 Illinois watches ever made. Another M.M. Bovard which looks almost identical, but which is a grade 176 has also been seen. Many of the Illinois private labels have beautiful 2-tone damascening patterns and gold screws etc. This decoration makes collecting all the more rewarding.
