This 18 size grade 64-S Illinois was made for J. Segerstrom of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Mr. Segerstrom wanted to remember he was a watchmaker so he had Illinois inscribe it on this movement to remind him.

This movement is from the first run of grade 64 and the only run to be designated by the factory as 64-S. It differs from other runs of the grade, in that it has the chalmers regulator. Note the similarity to the Goldberg grade 101-S. The only noticible difference is the lack of a fifth pinion.
