| This is a 16 size Hamilton grade 992 circa 1906, with an early 4 footed dial. It was made for the W. C. Smith Company in Brockton, MA. W. C. Smith was a Jewelry Company in Brokton which, it is also believed to have offered railroad watch inspection service for The New York, New Haven, and Hartford RR. Several other small companies on this line and in this area of the country had similar watches private labeled for them in this same basic time frame. | |||
