As many of you already
know, a private label watch is a watch made with the brand name of a private
distributor, like a jewelry store or a mail-order business. Illinois made
more of these than any other American watch company. For a small extra charge,
anyone could order their name on the dial and movement of an Illinois watch
(usually, but not always, in lots of 10 or more). It is well known that The
Sears & Roebuck Co. started by selling watches like this by mail order.
I am interested in
private labels in general, but on this part of my site, my aim is to get
feedback about a particular type. Please advance to the next page, or
click on the "double roller" buttons
on the left to see some nice Bunns, and then
click the"Send Me An E-Mail" button
if you have comments or any information on similar watches.
